Here it is!

Okay, I realize that it doesn't look like much, all by its lonesome, but this is my second block in the Jelly Roll Sampler Quilt Along that I joined. I took it apart and re-worked it 3 times to get it just right.

There was a time when I would have slapped it together and been done with it. But, I am trying to get a better result with these blocks. So, in honor of National Quilting Day, I only did a little bit, but I did it correctly!

And I did stab myself in the leg with a seam ripper. Nuff said.

Good for you Jan! I'm with you on trying to hone my skills! I really want to get better and I am working on it slowly ;). This will be a really nice quilt when finished. I'm curious to see the finish product! I finished my February Christmas BOM today! I did a little applique and watched a few quilting episodes with Ricky Tim and Alex Anderson, so I celebrated quilting in style! :).

Sounds like you definitely did! I watched Ricky and Alex, too. Love that show, but only watch it when it is free!
